Taste Asia SM Mall of Asia

'Good food doesn't need to hide by the side'

This is Taste of Asia in Mall of Asia. Located at the side of SM Hypermarket.
Yes. literally at the side :) I don't care where it is located... the food is so good!

I was here with my friends yesterday to have lunch. Wow! every item we ordered was fabulous. We had baked oysters, garlic prawns, pork with red sauce and fried rice.

Do they have a Chef here? the food is irresistible! ......... really really :)

I told the manager, 'The food was really good, I will bring my family here this weekend'

Chef's verdict 10/10

Dulcinea Greenbelt

Dulcinea has been part of our generation in the food industry. Quality and good food is always on top of mind.   Since, high school their 'Churros' is one of my favorite food in town, until now quality has not been changed. Good job to that!

Craving for Paella? Go to Dulcinea :) I love their Paella. The flavor is balance, the rice is not overcooked, the texture is fantastic. I enjoy their Paella very much.

You just need to wait for 40minutes though :)

I also tried their two dishes the Fabada and the Lengua.  Again, like what I have said, Good Job!

Fabada - I stopped talking when eating this. :)  Lengua - wow nice texture. The sauce is balance not too overpowering. 'The meat melts in you mouth' :)

In the industry, challenges are part of the menu. Last weekend, I was with my friends,  We ordered Churros, Arroz ala Cubana and Salpicao.

Churros - no problem, but when the Arroz ala Cubana was served we were surprised! I was looking for the banana, the egg and maybe some sauce. The usual accompaniments, but none!

It was dry. I mean no harm, but from Dulcinea's years of experience in food, I think they need to improve with this simple dish.

The Salpicao was plated nicely. The meat is a bit hard for a 310.00 peso dish. I think they need to check their recipe or maybe the supplier of the beef as well.

Again, I mean no harm. I believe, this is an opportunity to improve.

I will be eating there again soon! :)

Chef's verdict 5/10.

Red Mango Greenbelt 3

'Why is it the Mango is Red?'  Just kidding :) Red Mango one of my favorite Yogurt place in the metro.

Two words for Red Mango's green tea yogurt - 'Simple Pleasure!'  I enjoy their ninety peso Green Tea Yogurt while walking around the mall. The flavor is clean and guiltless.

I don't need any add ons on this, just give it to me as is I'll finish it off :)

Red Mango is another alternative coffee place. If you are a coffee critique, you might want to try their brews. I am always a fan of their latte, because of its full and round flavor.

I always laugh at myself when I see people eating Yogurt and I am the only person enjoying their coffee.  'I am doing solo' :)

Red Mango's Waffle is fantastic. The flavor is balanced. It is very addictive. It goes well with my coffee.

Chef's verdict 10/10

Really, Why is it called Red Mango?

Buerre Blanc Restaurant - Resorts World Pasay City

'Some say French Restaurant is expensive, I say it's reasonably priced'

I tried their Fish fillet with Herbed sauce, P 280 - if I can still remember :) Anyway, the fish is good! This is what is like about French Cuisine, no fancy stuffs simple, straight forward and elegant food.

You can taste the art of cooking in every bite. The fish is properly cooked, the mashed potato is inviting and the vegetables were fabulous. Every component is right to the bite.

The experience was like a celebration in a plate!

Chef's verdict 10/10.

MOZU Cafe Octagon Building San Miguel Ave. Pasig

Mozu Cafe at Octagon Building, San Miguel Ave. Ortigas Center, Pasig City. 'First impression lasts'    I thought this was a high end Cafe. I checked out their menu, I was delighted with the  food. They were reasonably priced.

I ordered their Salisbury steak - P 150.00, My friends tried the frozen Brazo De Merecedes - P 150.00 and the mixed vegetables - P 200.00.

The Salisbury steak was flavorful, not over nor undercooked just right.  The egg was cooked ala minute. The side vegetable was great!

The Mixed vegetable was cooked properly. The sauce was flavorful it completes the dish.

Amazing dessert! Usually frozen desserts are too sweet, but this one is well balanced.
Everything is good!

We enjoyed the food and the ambiance!

Good Job MOZU!

Chef's verdict 10/10 :) I'll come back to this place.
