more chicken rice @ singa

another chicken rice version.
this one has sambal and fresh basil. 

the chicken rice is cooked with the chicken's broth. lightly seasoned. the chicken is steamed, sauce drizzled on top. accompanied with basil and sambal to twist the dish.

sauce is light soy sauce, water, sesame oil and cucumber.

I ate this one before going to sentosa.

I like the dish but it is too spicy for filipino palette. 

the saltiness is very subtle but the spiciness is screaming hot....

the verdict! 10/10 for spicy eaters but 2/10 for general public.... you might end up drinking 1 liter of water instead of eating.
